The Victron Phoenix Inverter is a high efficiency pure sine wave inverter that takes DC power from your battery and converts it into clean 230V AC, so you can run normal appliances anywhere off-grid in your campervan, boat, cabin or worksite.

It has a pure sine wave output to deliver the same clean output as the household grid. It uses a full-bridge switch mode converter in combination with a toroidal transformer design that has proven to be reliable over many years in the field.

The VE.Direct port allows you to connect your computer, phone, or tablet so you can configure and monitor information like input/output voltage, load %, and alarms. Use the Victron VE.Direct to USB Interface to connect your computer, or the VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart Dongle to wirelessly connect your phone or tablet. Once connected, you can set low-voltage cut-off and restart levels, dynamic (load-dependent) cut-off, output frequency (50/60Hz), and ECO mode thresholds.

ECO mode is worth knowing about if you're running off a limited battery bank. Once your load drops below a threshold, the inverter goes into standby and only pulses on briefly to check for a load, so it draws next to nothing while idle. As soon as something real switches on, it wakes up and stays on.
